Account Deletion

How to request the deletion of your account and data

We value your privacy. You have full control over your data. Below are the ways you can request the deletion of your account and all associated data.


Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

You can delete your account directly within the Chefito app. This is the fastest way.

  1. Open the Chefito App.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap on 'Account' or 'Profile'.
  4. Select 'Delete Account' and confirm.

Note: This will immediately and permanently delete all your recipes, items, photos, and personal settings.


Option 2: Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion via email.

  • Send an email to: contact@pinedapps.de
  • Subject: 'Account Deletion Request'
  • Please send the email from the address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

We will process email requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.


What data is deleted?

When your account is deleted, we remove all personal data associated with your account, including:

  • Your user profile (email, username)
  • All your recipes and ingredients
  • Your inventory items and shopping lists
  • Any uploaded photos
  • Your app preferences

We do not retain any of your personal data after account deletion, except where required by law.
